Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base. A variety of businesses, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel business, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all depending on and working with heavy duty equipment. The power and efficiency offered by the models keep operational costs low and provide the best conditions for economical work. These equipment can excel in the most tough environments.
Providing the required power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines which have 6 cylinders. These models could take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on steep slopes and rough terrain and also provides great acceleration.
The operator is able to use a switch in order to select 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or difficult terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks are able to save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. In addition, just by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a chosen speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving feature. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machine easy to maneuver and comfortable to utilize.
A comfortable and spacious working place is offered by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps make sure that the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was ergonomically designed to provide a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the unit's overall safety. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on giving the enjoyable atmosphere which Hyundai machinery are supposed to have.
