A reach stacker is a vehicle meant to handle the movement of containerized cargo in medium and small-sized ports and terminals. Reach stackers are perfect for quickly shuttling containers short distances and stacking them in rows.
Because of their flexibility, reach stackers are a common choice for handling intermodal cargo containers. They are capable of stacking higher than forklift trucks. With a reach stacker capable of second row access, container blocks can be kept four-deep.
